17 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth every day in the UK. Sands Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity, offers support to anyone who is affected by the death of a baby either during pregnancy or after birth, they are working with health professionals to improve the care given to bereaved parents and to promote research to reduce the loss of babies lives. Cloth Nappy Tree are holding a Charity auction in aid of Sands. The Auction contains over 40 items ranging from handmade jewellery, clothes and gifts to nappies and baking!
